Caustic Calcined Magnesia
Caustic Calcined Magnesia (CCM) is made from Magnesia ore (MgCO3) through calcination in various types of shaft kilns. There is a variety of grades differing in a wide range of chemistry and physical properties. This active Magnesia compound can be widely used in many fields, such as chemical industry (paper and pulp, water purification, desulphurization), agriculture (fertilizers, animal feed), metallurgical industry ( slag splashing in steelmaking), building industry ( fireproof and light partition boards) medicine, rubber, refractories etc..
Caustic Calcined Magnesia Balls
Caustic Calcined Magnesia Balls (CCM Balls) are made of ordinary CCM powder by mixing and compressing into ball-shaped briquettes. It is mainly used for slag conditioning and slag splashing in the converter steelmaking process.
Dead Burned Magnesia
Dead Burned Magnesia (DBM) is made of finely-selected high-quality raw magnesia ores by different ways of beneficiation, calcined in various types of shaft kilns. With high sintering level and compact structure, DBM is an excellent raw material for producing shaped and unshaped refractory products for a wide range of applications, in electric furnace, converters, ladles, tundishes, as well as for many other Magnesia-based products.<br /> The DBM grades containing 90-93% MgO with heterogeneous structure is produced by selective mining of appropriate grades of Magnesia ore. After hand selection follows single step calcination at over 1600°C in vertical shaft kilns. After post-burning selection, crushing and screening to customized sizes (from lumps to fines) create the various grades, well established for the production of monolithic and low category burnt bricks.
Middle-grade Dead Burned Magnesia
DBM 95: The group of DBM grades with MgO contents of 94-95% MgO are made by 2 step calcination. The first step is shaft kiln caustic calcining, followed by milling and briquetting, then sintering at over 1850°C temperature shaft kilns. Featured with good sintering and dense crystallization, it is an excellent material for making mid-range Magnesia shaped and unshaped refractory products.
High Purity Dead Burned Magnesia
High Purity DBM: The top group of high purity DBM grades with 96-97.5% MgO is based on finely selected super grade-A Magnesia ores and other ores being beneficiated by flotation process. Caustic calcination is done in various types of kilns, depending on the size of raw material feed, followed by fine milling and double step briquetting. The final sintering happens in ultra-high temperature oil or gas fired modern shaft kilns at temperatures of over 2200°C. This top grade DBM is worldwide well accepted and used for the production of high duty class refractory.
Brucite
Brucite is a natural Magnesium Hydroxide, appearing in the eastern part of Liaoning. Uses: the processed i.e. selected and crushed milled Brucite is widely used in different fields, like flame retardants, slag conditioning in iron and steel plants, power plant flue gas desulphurization, component in MgO containing fertilizers, wastewater purification etc..
Fused Magnesia-Chrome
Fused Magnesia-Chrome (FMC) is produced by sintering Chrome ore and Caustic Calcined Magnesia powder (CCM) in a high-temperature electric arc furnace, exceeding 2500°C. This product has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, strong corrosion resistance and stable volume. It is mainly used as a functional refractory material in metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries.
